Kate 'will be thrilled', Queen Camilla says to well-wishers

Queen Camilla told supporters that the Princess of Wales, Kate, would be delighted to receive homemade posters from her visit to Shrewsbury.
She made this comment after thanking two young girls for their crafted signs at a farmers' market. The Queen's assurance came amid news that Kate is undergoing early treatment for cancer, which she described as a "huge shock" but also mentioned she's "getting stronger every day."

During her interaction, Queen Camilla promised to convey the children's best wishes to Kate, marking her first public engagement since Kate's diagnosis became public.

Kensington Palace remains optimistic about Kate's recovery, following her abdominal surgery and the need for preventative chemotherapy. Kate and her husband Prince William have sought to handle the situation privately, focusing on explaining the circumstances to their children in a supportive manner.

King Charles has expressed pride in Kate's bravery, while Queen Camilla has increased her royal duties as the King receives cancer treatment. During her visit, Queen Camilla engaged with local vendors and received gifts, including a bottle of Shrewsbury gin.
