$100k bail for UK national accused of ‘Uttering Forged Documents’

A 58-year-old United Kingdom national was recently placed before the Magistrate’s Court, accused of Counterfeit Document and Uttering Forged Documents.

Philip Andrew Oliver of Hannah’s Bay Marina was arrested and charged for the alleged offences on November 18, 2020, according to the Arrest Blotter for November 15-28, 2020 released by the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF) on December 2, 2020.

According to the Arrest Blotter, Mr Oliver appeared before the Magistrate’s Court and was granted bailed in the sum of $100,000 of which $20,000 is a cash component for his appearance at the Magistrate’s Court.

UNLAWFUL POSSESSION OF CANNABIS


*  On 11-15-2020 at 1617hrs, Police arrested and charged Javon Francis of Baughers Bay for Unlawful Possession of Cannabis. Bail was granted in the sum of $5,000 with one surety for his appearance at the Magistrate’s Court on 21-01-2021 at 0900hrs

*  On 17-11-2020 at 1305hrs, Police arrested and charged a 15-year-old male of Little Dix Hill for Unlawful Possession of Cannabis. Bail was granted in the sum of $5,000 with one surety for his appearance at the Magistrate’s Court on 21-01-2021 at 0900hrs.

*  3. On 22-11-2020 at 0222hrs, Police arrested and charged Shervon Anthony, 29, of The Valley, VG for Unlawful Possession of Cannabis and Breach of Curfew. Bail was granted in the sum of $10,000 with one surety for his appearance at the Magistrate’s Court on 13-01-2021 at 0900hrs.

*  On 28-11-2020 at 0531hrs, Police arrested and charged Keyandre Mordecai Fontaine, 19, at North Sound for Unlawful Possession of Cannabis. Bail was granted in the sum of $5,000 with one surety for his appearance at the Magistrate’s Court on 10-02-2021 at 0900hrs.

ASSAULT OCCASIONING ACTUAL BODILY HARM


On 18-11-2020 at 0708hrs, Police arrested and charged Elliston George of Paraquita Bay for the Assault Occasioning Actual Bodily Harm. Bail was granted in the sum of $5,000 for his appearance at the Magistrate’s Court.

THEFT


On 21-11-2020 at 1620hrs, Police arrested and charged Gladys Todman, 44, of Baughers Bay, for Theft. Bail was granted in the sum of $5,000 in her own recognizance to appear before the Magistrate’s Court at John's Hole on 21-01-2021 at 0900hrs.
