101 active cases of COVID-19 reported in VI

A reduction in active COVID-19 cases in the Virgin Islands continues to be seen, with the latest recorded cases being 101.

There has; however, been one COVID-19-related death since the last update of May 19, 2022, when there were 123 active cases and 62 total deaths.

According to the Territory’s Epidemiological Summary, the latest figures are the result of testing done on June 1 and reported on June 2, 2022.

Of the 101 active cases detected, 86 are on Tortola and 15 on Virgin Gorda. No cases have been reported on Virgin Gorda and Anegada.

There were no hospitalisations.
