$10K bail for Johnson’s Ghut man charged for alleged drug offences

A young man from Johnson’s Ghut was slapped with $10,000 bail after he was arrested and charged for Possession of a Controlled Drug and Possession of a Controlled Drug with Intent to Supply, according to the Arrest Blotter for October 18 to October 24, 2020, as released by the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF) today, October 28, 2020.

Shameel Grant, 27, was arrested and charged on October 21, 2020, for the two offences.

He was granted bail in the amount of $10,000 with one signed surety to appear before the Magistrate's Court in John's Hole on December 4, 2020.

THEFT


On 18-10-2020 at 2227hrs, Police arrested and charged Ivan Govia, 54, of No fixed place of abode for Theft. He was granted bail in his own recognizance to appear before the Magistrate's Court, John's Hole on 12-01-2021 at 0900hrs.

DRIVING WITHOUT DRIVER’S LICENCE


On 20-10-2020 at 0008hrs, Police arrested and charged William Malone, 24, of Fat Hogs Bay for Driving without Driver's License, Driving an Unlicensed Vehicle and Driving an Uninsured Vehicle. Bail was granted in the sum of $1,500 in his own recognizance for his appearance at the Magistrate's Court on the 07-12-2020 at 0900hrs.

DESTROYING PROPERTY


On 22-10-2020 at 1000hrs, Police arrested and charged Garfield Stauberm Gilbert, 55, of Mount Healthy for Destroying Property. Bail was granted in the sum of $5,000 with one signed surety to appear before the Magistrate's Court, John's Hole on 19-10-2021 at 0900hrs.

INSULTING AND INDECENT LANGUAGE


On 20-10-2020 at 1725hrs, Police arrested and charged Ramzi Bazar, 27, of Huntum’s Ghut for Insulting and Indecent Language. He was granted bail in the amount of $5,000 with one signed surety to appear before the Magistrate's Court, John's Hole on 12-01-2020 at 0900hrs.
