12 Days of Christmas kicks off

Steel pans playing Christmas classics filled the Cyril B. Romney Tortola Pier Park with music on Saturday as visitors and residents perused the farmer’s market set up in the square.
Most of the vendors, like Sylvia Natural Juices, usually hold their spot in central Road Town, but this time around they were invited to the pier park as part of a Christmas celebration.

The 12 Days of Christmas at Pier Park kicked off on Friday with music until midnight.
On Saturday, along with the “Property and Land Sale” in conjunction with the farmer’s market, movie night was set up in the park.

The celebration continued Monday with a Family Feud competition, and again on Tuesday in a Christmas karaoke competition, where the winners received $1,500 and $500, respectively.

A PrePro Moon Party and Merchants Walk was scheduled for Wednesday night with festivities lasting until midnight and music by DJ Push Pop. Thursday night, the 3G’s Band performed It’s A Jazzy Christmas.
