2 cruise ships made inaugural call to VI this week

As tourism continues to rebound in the Virgin Islands, two cruise ships with a combined 1, 778 passengers and 1,417 crew members made their inaugural call to the territory during this week.
Today, February 3, 2022, the VI welcomed Saga Cruise Line’s 'Spirit of Discovery' with 697 passengers and 505 Crew on its inaugural call.

On Tuesday, February 1, 2022, Holland America’s 'Rotterdam', with 1081 passengers and 912 crew members, made its inaugural call to the VI.

Both cruise ships were given an official welcome on behalf of the Government of the Virgin Islands by Junior Minister for Trade and Economic Development Hon Sharie B. de Castro.

"Tourism in the BVI continues to be on the move. We're getting there," Premier and Minister of Finance commented on his Facebook page today.
