2 Young motor scooter riders facing drug & traffic charges

Two young scooter riders have landed themselves in hot water after they were stopped by police in a recent road traffic operation and allegedly found to be in violation of traffic laws as well as in possession of a controlled drug.

The young men have been identified by police, in its Arrest Blotter for the period May 30-June 11, 2022, as D’moi Allen and D’mari Parillon, who were both arrested and charged on June 11, 2022.

Allen, 24, of West End was charged for Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Drug, Driving without a Front Plate, Driving without a Rear Plate, and Driving without a Crash Helmet.

Parillon, 19, of Cane Garden Bay, was charged for Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Drug, Driving while not covered by Insurance, Driving without a Driver’s License entitling to do so, and Driving without a Crash Helmet.

ASSAULT OCCASIONING ACTUAL BODILY HARM

*  On 03-06-2022 at 0815hrs, Police arrested and charged Chevaune Inniss, 27, of The Valley, VG, for Assault Causing Actual Bodily Harm

*  On 09-06-2022 at 0810hrs, Police arrested and charged Val Irvine John, 29, of Lower Hope Estate for Assault Occasioning Actual Bodily Harm. He was granted in the sum of $5,000 with one surety to appear before the Magistrate's Court on 28-07-2022 at 0900hrs.

THEFT

On 04-06-2022 at 1345hrs, Police arrested and charged Abigail Richardson, 22, of South Valley, Virgin Gorda on 7 counts of Theft. She was granted bail in the sum of $3,000 to appear before Magistrate’s Court on 22-09-2022.
