23 active COVID-19 cases recorded in VI; 3 hospitalised

23 active COVID-19 cases recorded in VI; 3 hospitalised

The Government of the Virgin Islands is reporting there are 23 cases of COVID-19 recorded in the territory and that three persons are hospitalised as a result of the virus.

According to the Territory's Epidemiological Summary, 20 of the active cases are on Tortola and 3 are on Virgin Gorda.

The latest figures are the result of testing done on August 29, 2022, and reported the same day.

There have been a total of 7, 291 positive cases of COVID-19 in the territory, 7, 204 recoveries and 64 deaths.

According to the Territory's Epidemiological Summary, 20 of the active cases are on Tortola and 3 are on Virgin Gorda.
