5 New(ish) Celebrity Couples Whose Style Is Twice as Nice

Love is in the air—and so are good outfits.

If 2021 has one positive takeaway, it’s that it’s been a year of love. Particularly among the celebs. Several new high-profile couples have blossomed over the past few months-and thankfully these duos have given us something to distract ourselves with (and, more importantly, something to innocently gossip with our friends about).
If 2021 has one positive takeaway, it’s that it’s been a year of love. Particularly among the celebs. Several new high-profile couples have blossomed over the past few months-and thankfully these duos have given us something to distract ourselves with (and, more importantly, something to innocently gossip with our friends about).

Some have been totally unexpected, like Zoë Kravitz and Channing Tatum’s recent link-up, others have been a rekindling (you which one we’re talking about). But one thing uniting all of these new famous partners? They’ve all mastered the art of couple style in a relatively short amount of time.

In honor, Vogue is taking a look at five particular duos who have nailed the art of his-and-hers dressing this year. The doubled-up outfits range from grungy to classic, and matchy-matchy to totally distinct. The question is: Do you coordinate fits with your significant other? If not, these pairs below may just want to make you start. At least for the photo op.

Below, five couples whose relationships blossomed this year-and why their style is twice as nice.

Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck

Became an item in: Technically, 2002. But after splitting in 2004, the couple rekindled their romance in July 2021, and have been going strong since.
Signature couple style: Bennifer 2.0 is all about sleek, coordinated style. Their most recent spotting, last week, saw them wear matching shades of black and gray. I know what you’re thinking: J.Lo, the queen of glam, understated? Surprisingly, when she's with Affleck, she’s been dressing pretty low-key, even though their PDA has been anything but.
Why it’s so good: The duo have somehow managed to recreate the same fashion vibe that they embodied throughout the 2000s-complete with matching sweats and coordinated white tank topsbut completely modernized it, too. Who doesn’t love a good throwback?

Zoë Kravitz and Channing Tatum

Became an item in: August 2021.
Signature couple style: Tatum favors a more laid-back, slacker-skater vibe with graphic tees and jeans, but Kravitz is a fashion girl through-and-through. Her wardrobe is complete with chic slip dresses and Telfar bags. Combined, however, it’s two worlds colliding.
Why it’s so good: They do say opposites attract!

Kaia Gerber and Jacob Elordi

Became an item in: September 2020.
Signature couple style: Kaia is a top model, so you know she dresses well. She loves a straight-leg jean, leather blazer, and shoulder bag. Jacob matches her fashion energy with tailored jackets, Hawaiian shirts, and classic jeans. They could borrow from each other and nobody would notice.
Why it’s so good: Like Bennifer, the clothes they wear are not super splashy. They want their romance to whisper, not scream!

Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker

Became an item in: January 2021.
Signature couple style: Since Kourtney began dating Travis, she’s adopted his grungy, edgy fashion vibe. (He is a drummer, after all.) Without forgoing her own TK signature style, Kourtney totally rocks her all-leather looks.
Why it’s so good: Whereas couple style can be stereotypically cutesy and matchy, this duo favors a tougher, spunkier aesthetic. It’s totally refreshing.

Michael B. Jordan and Lori Harvey

Became an item in: January 2021.
Signature couple style: Michael knows how to rock a suit; His style is classic and timeless. Lori, however, is more of a trendsetter, known to wear a bra top and jeans or a leather jumpsuit. They balance each other out perfectly.
Why it’s so good: They’re a couple that doesn’t sacrifice their individuality when it comes to dressing. Plus, on the red carpet, they always bring the sizzle factor together.
