69 active cases, 62 deaths from COVID-19 in VI

Active cases continue to decrease; however, there has been another death from COVID-19, which takes the death toll from the virus in the [British] Virgin Islands to 62.

According to the Territory's Epidemiological Summary, in its update of February 15, 2022, there are 69 active cases of the virus recorded in the territory.

The latest figures are from testing done on February 14, 2022, and reported on February 15, 2022.

There were 18 active cases and 61 deaths in the previous update of February 6, 2022.

The active cases were reported on Tortola, Jost van Dyke and Virgin Gorda.

Meanwhile, 6 persons are hospitalised at Dr D. Orlando Smith Hospital with COVID-19, two less than the previous update.

According to the Territory's Epidemiological Summary, in its update of February 15, 2022, there are 69 active cases of the virus recorded in the territory.
