‘Living Healthy in the Era of SARS-CoV-2 and COVID-19’ is a small booklet said to be rich in practical steps as it focuses on the health of the immune system, which is the body’s first line of defense against illnesses and diseases.

“We have learned with increasing clarity many things about the virus, and maintaining a healthy immune system is the best choice you can make for living optimally in the presence of this virus,” the authors said in a statement.

Deputy Director of Culture, Anne A. Lennard, confirmed that the department was particularly pleased to be involved with the launch of the booklet which was produced by seven well-informed and reputable local authors.

Ms. Lennard added, “It is no secret that our Territory continues to adjust our behaviours and lives as we live with COVID. Lastly, we are excited that the booklet is FREE OF COST which also ensures that everyone who may want one can easily secure a copy."

Persons are encouraged to attend and support the book launch as the Department of Culture continues to support local authors and develop the Virgin Islands’ cultural heritage and traditions.
