7 charged for Assault Causing Actual Bodily Harm- RVIPF

Assault Causing Actual Bodily Harm was the dominant charge for the period February 5-25, 2023, according to the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF) Arrest Blotter released today, March 2, 2023.

Some seven persons were charged over the given period.

ASSAULT CAUSING ACTUAL BODILY HARM

  1. On 19-02-2023 at 1158hrs, Police arrested and charged Clevan Thomas, 34, of Greenland for Assault Causing Actual Bodily Harm. He was granted bailed in the sum of $5,000 with one signed surety to appear before Magistrate’s Court on 30-03-2023.
  2. On 20-02-2023 at 0730hrs, Police arrest and charged Rajkumar Seepersaud, 53, of Sandbox Road for Assault Occasioning Actual Bodily Harm. He was granted bail in the sum $5,000 with one signed surety to appear before Magistrate’s Court on 30-03-2023.
  3. On 22-02-2023 at 1000hrs Police arrested and charged Asheem Hendricks, 21, of Little Harbour, Jost Van Dyke for the offence of Assault Occasioning Actual Bodily Harm and Being Armed with an Offensive Weapon. He was granted bail in the sum of $5,000 with one signed surety to appear before Magistrate’s Court on 06-04-2023. 
  4. On 22-02-2023 at 1015hrs, Police arrested and charged a 15-year-old male of Little Harbour, Jost Van Dyke for Assault Causing Actual Bodily Harm. He was granted bail in the sum of $5,000 with one sign surety to appear before Magistrate’s Court on 06-04-2023.
  5. On 22-02-2023 at 2325hrs, Police arrested and charged Anondah Hodge, 23, of The Valley, Virgin Gorda for Assault Causing Actual Bodily Harm. She was granted bail in sum of $5,000 to appear before Magistrate’s Court on 06-04-2023.
  6. On 23-02-2023 at 0005hrs, Police arrested and charged Tami-yah George, 21, of North Sound, Virgin Gorda for Assault Causing Actual Bodily Harm. She was granted bail in the sum of $5,000 with one surety to appear before Magistrate’s Court on 06-04-2023.
  7. On 25-02-2023 at 1825hrs, Police arrested and charged Stevon Johnson, 28, of The Valley Virgin Gorda for Assault Causing Actual Bodily Harm. He was granted bail in the sum of $5,000 with one sign surety to appear before Magistrate’s Court on 27-03-2023. 

UNLAWFUL POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED DRUG

  1. On 11-02-2023 at 0205hrs, Police arrested and charged Jason Smith, 18, of Sea Cows Bay with two counts of Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Drug and Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Drug with Intent to Supply to Another.
  2. On 18-02-2023 at 0533hrs, Police arrested and charged Kevin Moorehead, 43, of Fat Hogs Bay for Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Drug.

CRIMINAL DAMAGE

On 11-02-2023 at 1607hrs, Police arrested and charged Robert Swain of Hannah's Estate for Criminal Damage and Being Armed with an Offensive Weapon. He was granted bail in the sum of $5,000 with one signed surety to appear before Magistrate’s Court on 23-03-2023.

CAUSING DEATH BY CARELESS DRIVING

On 13-02-2023 at 1625hrs, Police arrested and charged Ulric Pilgrim of Carrot Bay for Causing Death by Careless Driving. He was granted bailed in the sum of $25,000 with one surety to appear before Magistrate’s Court on 23-03-2023.

DRIVING WITHOUT INSURANCE

On 21-02-2023 at 0948hrs, Police arrested and charged Kayaba George, 23, of the Valley, Virgin Gorda, 23, for Driving without a Driver’s License, Driving an Uninsured Vehicle and Driving without a Crash Helmet. He was granted bail in the sum of $5,000 with one signed surety to appear before Magistrate’s Court on 27-03-2023.

CONSPIRACY TO COMMIT MURDER

On 21-02-2023 at 1407hrs, Police arrested and charged Nyall George, 26, of Old Plantation for Conspiracy to Murder, Unlawful Possession of Firearms, Unlawful Possession of Ammunition and Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Drug. He was remanded until his reappearance on 30-03-2023.

UNLAWFUL POSSESSION OF A FIREARM

On 21-02-2023 at 1348hrs, Police arrested and charged John Burgos, 26, a native of USVI residing at Hodges Creek for Unlawful Possession of Firearms, Unlawful Possession of Ammunition and Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Drug. He was remanded until his reappearance on 30-03-2023.
