82 new active COVID-19 cases in VI; 357 in total

Active cases of COVID-19 in the Virgin Islands continue to climb, with the latest stats, today, December 30, 2021, showing 357 active cases compared to 275 announced a day ago.

According to the Territory's Epidemiological Summary, there are 82 new cases as a result of testing done on December 29 and reported on December 30, 2021.

287 of the active cases are on Tortola, 69 on Virgin Gorda, and 1 on a vessel.

193 of the cases are local cases and 109 are contacts of case.

8 persons remain hospitalised at Dr D. Orlando Smith Hospital due to COVID-19.

The Virgin Islands (VI) continues to see an increase in COVID-19 positive cases, with the latest figure as of December 29, 2021, being 275 cases based on results of testing done on December 28, 2021.


Of the cases, 8 persons are currently hospitalized according to the data released by the Ministry of Health.
