Some nine new COVID-19 cases have been recorded in the Territory as of January 4, 2021, according to the Territory’s Epidemiological Survey today, January 5, 2021.
The total cases recorded in the Territory are now 107, up from 98 from January 2, 2021.
There are now 14 active cases, up from 11.
A total of 92 persons have now been declared recovered.
10 of the active
COVID-19 cases are on Virgin Gorda, 3 on Tortola and 1 on a vessel.
According to the Government of
the Virgin Islands, all active cases were tested while in quarantine.
The Territory recorded one
COVID-19 death in April 2020.
