Active COVID-19 cases in VI drop to 555

Active COVID-19 cases recorded in the Virgin Islands continue to decline, with some 555 active cases as of the July 28, 2021 update by the Government of the Virgin Islands.

The latest number of active cases is 29 less than the amount given on July 27, 2021, which was 584- down from 1604.

And according to the Territory’s Epidemiological Summary, 2500 total cases have been recorded and there have been 1914 recoveries.

There have been 31 COVID-19 related deaths in the Virgin Islands.

24 cases remain hospitalised, all of which are unvaccinated.
