Adaejah T. Hodge lowers her own National Record in 100m

Just one week after establishing a new [British] Virgin Islands National Record in the 100m (11.12 seconds), sprinter Adaejah T. Hodge has lowered the mark even further.
Hodge ran 11.11 seconds (1.7 m/s) in the 100m, establishing yet another VI National 100m Record, placing second overall at the Corky/Crofoot Shootout at Texas Tech on Saturday, April 29, 2023.

The World Jr Record Holder in the indoor 200m, Hodge first broke the 100m National Record at the Pure Athletics Spring invitational a week ago.

Hodge’s new national record eclipsed Tahesia G. Harrigan-Scott’s 17-year-old run of 11.13 seconds, which she established at El Paso in 2006.

Meanwhile, Hodge also ran 22.31 (5.0 m/s) seconds in the 200m to place 1st at the Corky/Crofoot Shootout at Texas Tech.
