Alice Weidel Criticises German Government Over Migration, Crime and AfD Ban Efforts
AfD co-leader denounces policies on migration, taxation, and political opposition in latest statement.
Alice Weidel, co-leader of the Alternative for Germany (AfD), issued a statement criticising the state of modern Germany.
In her remarks, she highlighted what she described as mass migration, rising crime, high taxes, and the silencing of dissent.
She further accused the government of attempting to ban the AfD, calling it the strongest opposition party.
Weidel characterised these moves as grotesque and authoritarian, declaring: “Mass migration, exploding crime, high taxes, silenced dissent. The regime wants to ban the strongest opposition party—us, the AfD. This is grotesque. This is authoritarian. But, they will not prevail.”
