Altercation between 2 men on Anegada leaves one seriously injured

A fight between to men on Anegada on Saturday, morning, August 20, 2022, resulted in one of them being seriously injured and had to be transported to Dr D. Orlando Smith Hospital on Tortola.
According to reports, the hospitalised man is nursing injuries to the head.

Our newsroom was also told that the man was slipping in and out of consciousness.

The Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF) has reportedly received reports of the incident; however, it is unclear whether anyone has been arrested.

The perpetrator is said to be a well-known resident of the Anegada community.
