Another person has reportedly died due to COVID-19 in VI

Another person in the Virgin Islands (VI) has reportedly passed away due to COVID-19, according to sources within the BVI Health Services Authority (BVIHSA).
The individual reportedly passed away at Dr D. Orlando Smith Hospital.

The VI has now recorded 9 COVID-19 related deaths.

Virgin Islands News Online extends condolences to the friends and family of the deceased.

There are over 1600 active cases of COVID-19 in the territory, according to the latest update provided on July 15, 2021.
