Armed bandits rob Playroom Bar; carts off cash & Louis Vuitton handbag

A business owner was reportedly robbed of cash on-premises and several bar patrons left traumatised when armed bandits pounced on the Playroom Bar in Sea Cows Bay, Tortola, shortly after midnight this morning December 5, 2020.
Eyewitnesses said two masked men, one carrying a gun, entered the bar minutes after midnight and headed straight for the cash register where they took about $1500 before carting off a Louis Vuitton handbag belonging to the supervisor on duty.

Sources further told VINO that the business was unable to get CCTV footage of the robbery since the cameras on the premises were not operational.

No one was reportedly hurt in the robbery as police investigations continue.
