Berserk man injures bank customer with rock

A customer of a bank in Road Town was reportedly injured and had to seek medical attention after he was hit with a rock thrown by a man who went berserk on Monday, January 11, 2021.
Reports are that for unknown reasons the suspect began behaving “erratic” while on the bank’s premises. He allegedly went off the property, armed himself with rocks, and threw two of them in the direction of the bank’s entrance door.

One of the rocks reportedly hit a customer who had to seek medical attention at Dr D. Orlando Smith Hospital.

Several persons, including a security guard, witnessed the incident, including the accused hurling expletives and threatening to “kill someone”.

Reports are that the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force is reviewing CCTV footage to identify the perpetrator.
