"Biden Urges Prompt Aid for Ukraine Amid Stalled Funding"

President Joe Biden has reiterated his appeal for Congress, specifically Republican members, to release additional aid for Ukraine as it depletes its ammunition supplies in the ongoing conflict with Russia.
Marking the war's two-year anniversary, Biden emphatically stated from the White House, "We can't walk away now."

Currently, a critical $60 billion aid package for Ukraine is stalled in Congress, with the Republican House Speaker not bringing it to a vote due to former President Donald Trump's disapproval of the assistance. As a result, Ukrainian forces are facing setbacks from a better-supplied Russian military.

Biden warned that Russian President Putin is counting on American withdrawal, stressing the urgency of the situation with Ukrainian soldiers and civilians facing casualties as Russia advances. He called on lawmakers to act swiftly in passing the aid bill.
