The event is scheduled to take place at Cool Spot, next to Bang Good and across from Bobby’s Supermarket in Road Town, Tortola.

The feature race will be between two heavyweights...literally.

The Big' Race!

Omari Martin aka 'Binky' will match strides with Kyle J. Ricketts aka 'Scoop' in a 100m race for some serious bragging rights.

Race pundits have assured Usain St Leo Bolt's World Record will not be threatened; however, excitement is guaranteed.

DJ Mac Milli, speaking to Virgin Islands News Online (VINO), said other exciting races are also scheduled.

“We are supposed to have other races, probably some celebrity races and races among people in the community,” he added.

The DJ reiterated that the feature race is scheduled for around 9:30 am, right after the J’ouvert on August Monday.

He said food, music, water trucks, and more will be available for patrons who come out to support.
