Body seen floating in Sea Cow’s Bay found tied up

BVI News has been informed that the body found floating in Sea Cow’s Bay this morning might be the result of a homicide.
Our news centre understands that the body is that of a hispanic male and he was found with his hands bound together.

He was reportedly wearing a white T-Shirt and pair of long blue pants when he was fished out of the sea.

The Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF) has not yet given any official statement regarding his identity. They’ve also not yet given official word that he was murdered.

Although the police have processed four scenes involving deceased persons including this latest incident, the RVIPF has only confirmed one official murder since the start of 2021.

The death being treated as a murder at this time is Earl ‘Bob’ Hodge, the victim of a shooting incident in Hannah’s Estate on February 9.

Police are yet to give an update on today’s death while the other two deaths recorded two Fridays ago are being described by the cops as “unexplained deaths”. The RVIPF said detectives are still carrying out investigations and are “not ready to draw conclusions”.
