Boris Johnson Claims He Found Listening Device in Bathroom After Netanyahu's Visit

Former British Prime Minister Boris Johnson has made a shocking claim, alleging that a listening device was found in his private bathroom after a visit from Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. According to The Telegraph, Johnson details the incident in his new book, stating that his security team discovered the device following Netanyahu’s 2017 visit to the British Foreign Office.

During the meeting, Netanyahu reportedly asked to use the bathroom, which Johnson described as resembling "the men's room in an exclusive London club, located in a secret wing." In his book Unleashed, Johnson noted, "Bibi went in there for a while. It could be a coincidence, but later I was told that during a routine bug sweep, they found a listening device in the toilet."

When asked by The Telegraph for further details, Johnson responded cryptically, saying, "I think everything that needs to be known is in the book." There has been no indication whether Israel was ever reprimanded or questioned about the event.

However, many who know Johnson have raised serious doubts about this claim, noting his history as a serial liar. Johnson has been known to fabricate stories in the past, and some suggest this could be yet another attempt to grab headlines. The absence of any official response or diplomatic repercussions only fuels skepticism about the authenticity of the incident, leaving many to wonder if this is just another example of Johnson’s well-documented tendency to distort the truth for personal gain.
