Boris Johnson's Reveals Controversial Pandemic Plans

Boris Johnson's memoir reveals he considered an 'aquatic raid' on a Dutch warehouse for Covid vaccines in 2021. The plan, seen as impractical, was discussed due to vaccine export issues with the EU. Johnson also denied eating cake at a lockdown birthday event and shared his near-fatal Covid ICU experience.
In his memoir Unleashed, Boris Johnson discloses that during the height of the pandemic, he considered an 'aquatic raid' on a Dutch warehouse in Leiden to seize Covid vaccines.

This plan, discussed with senior military officials in March 2021, was prompted by a row over the AstraZeneca vaccine exports and suspicions of EU malice towards the UK.

Lt Gen Doug Chalmers, while confirming the plan's feasibility, warned of the implications of invading a NATO ally.

Johnson ultimately deemed the plan 'nuts'.

Additionally, Johnson denied eating cake at his 56th birthday gathering during the Covid lockdown, a controversial Partygate event, and reflected on his near-fatal experience in intensive care with Covid in April 2020.
