Burglars hit Loose Mongoose in Trellis Bay
Bars are currently prohibited from operating; however, this did not stop burglars from getting alcohol and cigarettes from Loose Mongoose Restaurant and Bar in Trellis Bay on August 3, 2021.
According to reports reaching our newsroom, the burglars entered the bar allegedly during curfew hours and made off with a bottle of Hennessy and seven boxes of Benson & Hedges cigarettes.
The items reportedly cost $175 dollars and $47 dollars respectfully.
Nothing else was reported missing.
Reports state that when the burglars exited the bar they proceeded to a parked grey Suzuki pickup company truck PT906, ransacked same and left the area.
Police are said to be investigating.
