Business Man Gunned Down In Spring Ghut
Police are probing the circumstances into a shooting incident which occurred earlier today, September 10 in Spring Ghut on Tortola.
The deceased is confirmed to be Matthew Daly, a 55 year old resident of Fat Hog’s Bay.
He is popularly known as 'Shorty' and is always known to be well-dressed.
According to the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force(RVIPF), officers responded to a report, received after 1:30pm of a shooting in Spring Ghut.
"On arrival one male was found unresponsive with what appeared to be gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene," the RVIPF stated.

"All information will be treated with discretion and confidentiality will be assured," the RVIPF stated.
Daly was a well-known employee of a telecommunications giant in the territory and also runs a food establishment.
Today's shooting comes just days after the shooting death of George Burrows at his home in Purcell Estate.
