BVI Diabetes Association elects new Executive body

BVI Diabetes Association elects new Executive body

The BVI Diabetes Association met on February 8, 2023, for its general elections.

The Executives are: Dr Sharlon Lewis (President, Medical Advisor), Jasmin D’Aguiar (Vice President, Assistant Secretary/Treasurer), Roschelle Smith (Treasurer), Roselia J Dawson (Recording Secretary), Xandra Adamson (Fundraiser), David A. Abednego (Legal Advisor), and Timothy M. Barker (PRO).

In attendance at the meeting and elections was Minister for Health and Social Development Hon Marlon A. Penn (R8), who greeted all and left some encouraging words.

“The work you do is important, bringing awareness and solutions to community is no small feat and you should be commended. All of you,” Hon Penn stated.

Meanwhile, The Lions Club of Tortola presented a cheque for $1000 to help aid the BVI Diabetes Association with supplies.
