BVI FOOD FETE DINE OUT kicks off this weekend in TORTOLA!

Following the launch at a media event on Sunday, 15th November, BVI Food Fete Dine Out kicks off with Dine Out Tortola this weekend (20-22 November), with 16 restaurants and live demos by members of the award-winning BVI National Culinary Team.
BVI Food Fete Dine Out is the BVI Food Fete reimagined to meet the health and safety protocols implemented due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The month-long promotion is designed to support and showcase local restaurants and chefs. The event runs from November 20th – December 13th.

Elaborating on the reason for the change from the established annual BVI Food Fete events, Director of Tourism, Clive McCoy explained, “As a result of the COVID-19 global pandemic, this year we were forced to reconceptualize our annual BVI Food Fete celebrations. Considering that mass gatherings are one of the proven vehicles for the spread, we have adapted a new approach which allows for the promotion of participating restaurants and encourages patrons to dine around.”

Patrons can look forward to excellent dining in a safe setting with participating restaurants showcasing prix fixe menus throughout the month. As a bonus to this event, members of the award-winning BVI National Culinary Team will make guest appearances at select restaurants on weekends during the month, providing live demonstrations and complimentary samples. The culinary team members featured this weekend are chefs Zhanae Christopher, Radiance Modeste, Jolece Fraser and Jadiel Gibson, and mixologist Everson Rawlins.

The BVI Food Fete Dine Out calendar includes,

20–22 November – Dine Out Tortola
27-29 November – Dine Out Anegada: Lobster Edition
4–6 December – Dine Out Virgin Gorda
