BVI Love Contest

BVI Love Contest

The BVI Tourist Board invites all school-aged children to show off their creativity skills by participating in its first BVILOVE Poetry Contest.
The contest challenges students to artistically show their love and appreciation for the BVI. The aim of the contest is to inspire student writers and aspiring poets to express themselves through poetry while demonstrating BVILOVE.

“This is one of the many platforms we are working on to celebrate BVI Tourist Board’s commitment to the community and the arts”, said Clive McCoy, Director of Tourism. “It is important that we recognize the outstanding writing achievements by students in the Territory, and show them BVILOVE.”

Students are asked to submit their poems in unique formats that include but are not limited to art, video photography and performance. Entries are due by 16 November, 2020. An Apple iPad will be awarded to the winner in each of two categories – ages 5 to 12, and ages 13 to 19.
