BVIHSA request proposals for hospital security

The British Virgin Islands Health Services Authority invites bids for the provision of Security Services to the British Virgin Islands Health Services Authority – Dr. D. Orlando Smith Hospital, #32 Main Street, Road Town, Tortola; the Nurse Iris O’Neal Clinic and Medical Center, Virgin Gorda, and the Iris Penn Smith Clinic, East End and Rosalind Penn Clinic, Long Look, Tortola, British Virgin Islands.
The Services consist of furnishing all labour and equipment; and performing all operations in connection with Security Services to the British Virgin Islands Health Services Authority at the Dr. D. Orlando Smith Hospital, #32 Main Street, Road Town, Tortola; the Nurse Iris O’Neal Clinic and Medical Center, Virgin Gorda, and the Iris Penn Smith Clinic, East End and Rosalind Penn Clinic Long Look, Tortola, British Virgin Islands.

A non-refundable fee of $50.00 payable by cash or banker cashier’s cheque (payable to the British Virgin Islands Health Services Authority) is required for the Bid Documents.

Interested Bidders should submit one (1) original and three (3) copies plus one (1) flash drive containing the bidder’s documents. The original bid and flash drive should be placed in a sealed envelope and marked “ORIGINAL” and the additional copies placed in another sealed envelope and marked “COPIES”. Both envelopes should then be placed in an outer envelope and marked Bid for the provision of Security Services to the British Virgin Islands Health Services Authority – Dr. D. Orlando Smith Hospital #32 Main Street, Road Town, Tortola; the Nurse Iris O’Neal Clinic and Medical Center, Virgin Gorda; the Iris Penn Smith Clinic, East End and Rosalind Penn Clinic, Long Look, British Virgin Islands – DO NOT OPEN BEFORE mid-day on Tuesday 20th July, 2021 and addressed to:

All bids must be deposited in the “Bid Box” at the Office of the Chief Executive Officer, Major Peebles Annex, Road Town, Tortola, British Virgin Islands, by the bearer not later than 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday 20th July, 2021. Bids will not be received after the “Bid Box” is closed.

Bids will be opened virtually at the Chief Executive Officer’s Office, Major Peebles Annex, at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday 20th July, 2021. Bidders are invited to witness this process and will be provided with the access code and password to link, prior to the opening.

The British Virgin Islands Health Services Authority does not bind itself to accept the lowest or any other bid and will not defray costs incurred by the Bidder.
