BVIPA approves new ferry operator for roundtrip to USVI
A new ferry operator has been approved by local regulators to offer passenger services between the Virgin Islands and the US Virgin Islands (USVI).
Aquatic Rentals has been approved with two daily roundtrip services between Road Town, Tortola and Red Hook, St Thomas.
“The British Virgin Islands Ports Authority (BVIPA) would like to notify the public of the approval of a new ferry operator and route for international ferry passenger operations, the BVIPA stated in a press release on March 2, 2022.
According to reports, the vessel is named ‘Sea Express 1’.
