Cabinet Approves Over $1.4M For Further Repairs On Admin Complex

The Cabinet of the Virgin Islands has approved over $1.4 million for the continued repairs of the Government’s Central Admin Complex.
This is according to a post-Cabinet meeting statement issued on Monday, January 10.

It informed that His Excellency, the Governor, John Rankin chaired the virtual meeting held on 22nd December 2021 and all members were present.

It said Cabinet, “Reviewed and accepted the evaluation report submitted by the Central Tenders Board (CTB) Technical Committee, which was approved by the CTB on 30th November 2021; accepted the CTB’s recommendation to award Coverings Home Center the contract for the Ralph T. O’Neal Administration Complex Exterior Building Envelope Repair in the amount of $1,234,777.85.”

The Cabinet document said there was another contract awarded for the Admin Complex project.

It said Cabinet reviewed the evaluation report from the CTB which had been approved by the CTB on October 19th 2021 and awarded the contract to Accurate Construction for Design and Construction of Basement Parking and Access Road, Design and Construction of Drainage, Gates and Exit Doors, in the sum of $242,915.20.
