A utility pole was nearly thrown to the ground when a car ploughed into it at Sea Cows Bay sometime this morning, May 19, 2021.
It is unclear how the driver of the car managed to lose control of the automobile; however, it came off the road and hit two utility poles that stood together in the vicinity of the foot of the 'Elevator Road'.
The vehicle had appeared to be heading west when the accident occurred.
One of the poles was left at almost a 45-degree angle; however, the pole that appeared to bear electrical wires remained intact.
The airbag on the passenger side of the vehicle inflated.
