Carrot Bay Cultural Fiesta on today, August 5, 2022
As the Virgin Islands (VI) continues its celebration of Emancipation 2022 across the territory, the next stop is the Carrot Bay Cultural Fiesta which opens today, August 5, 2022, in Carrot Bay.
Set to start from 8:00 am this morning, the event will feature an assortment of food for sale, in addition to cultural events for the children.
Other fun activities on the schedule include Lime and Spoon, Bucket, Sack, and three-Legged races.
There will also be a Mango Eating Competition as well as a Married vs Single Tug-A-War competition for both males and females, along with Donkey Races.
Entertainment on the scene will come from popular DJ’s, along with Razor Blades and VIBE. Event organisers said the action will start in the morning and is expected to go on into the evening.
The event is being put on by the Virgin Islands Festivals and Fairs Committee (VIF&FC).
