Carrot Bay man charged with attempted murder

Wakeem Guishard, a 32-year-old man of Carrot Bay has been charged with Possession of Firearm with intent to endanger life, attempted murder and common assault.

Police as part of their arrest blotter spanning December 6, to December 19, 2020, said the arrest of Guishard was made on December 15, 2020, at 05:32hrs in the morning.

On 06-12-2020 at 00:01hrs, Police arrested Albert George Jr., 38, of The Valley Virgin Gorda for Being Armed with an Offensive Weapon, Common Assault and Criminal Damage.

Drunkenness when in charge of a motor vehicle
On 06-12-2020 at 00:06hrs, Police arrested and charged Rexford Matthews 49, of Long Look for Drunkenness when in charge of a Motor Vehicle, Driving without a Driver's License, Driving without Due Care and Attention, and Driving when not Covered by Insurance.

Driving without a V.I. driver's licence
On 07-12-2020 at 09:00hrs, Police arrested and charged Allister Lewis, 25, of Sea's Cows Bay for Driving without a V.I. Driver’s License.

Disorderly conduct & driving without crash helmet
On 10-12-2020 at 17:16hrs, Police arrested and charged Ronald Antoine for Driving without Crash Helmet, Refusing to Give Name, Disorderly Conduct in a Police Station and Resisting Arrest.

Unlawful possession of cannabis
On 11-12-2020 at 14:08hrs, Police arrested and charged Lyhron Fahie, 29, of the Valley, Virgin Gorda for Unlawful Possession of Cannabis.

Rape
On 15-12-2020 at 19:10hrs, Police arrested and charged a 42-year-old Vincentian national for Rape.

Common assault
On 18-12-2020 at 20:30hrs, Police arrested and charged Jaimez Stoutt, 30, of Baughers Bay for Common Assault and Threatening Language. He was granted bail in the sum of $5,000 with one surety for his appearance at the Magistrate’s Court on 15-02-2021.
