Chad Lettsome reels in heaviest Wahoo & Mahi Mahi @ Wahoomania 2022

Fisherman’s luck belonged to Chad Lettsome and team on Salt Shaker at Wahoomania 2022 held as part of Virgin Gorda Easter Festival on April 16, 2022.

Lettsome reeled in the heaviest Wahoo- 40.24lbs- and also earned himself a nice payday of $3,000.00.

Additionally, the $1000.00 prize for heaviest Mahi Mahi also went to Lettsome for his catch of 14.56lbs.

Meanwhile, the prize for the second heaviest Wahoo belonged to Jerome Emmanuel Sr whose catch weighed 36.26lbs.

Emmanuel Sr, who pocketed $1,000.00, for that category also had the heaviest overall catch of 107.52 lbs. He pocketed an additional $1,000.00.

The prize for Youngest Angler went to Jerome Emmanuel Jr, who caught two tunas.

Joining the fishermen for the presentation were Minister for Natural Resources, Labour and Immigration Hon Natalio D. Wheatley (R9); Minister for Education, Culture, Youth Affairs, Fisheries and Agriculture Dr the Honourable Natalio D. Wheatley (R7) and Junior Minister for Trade and Economic Development Hon Shereen D. Flax-Charles (AL).
