Chanel Kicks Off the Holiday Season with Celebratory N°5 Calendar

Chanel Kicks Off the Holiday Season with Celebratory N°5 Calendar

The French maison launches a gift-filled calendar to help you count down to the holiday season.

Is it ever too early to get into the holiday spirit, or to buy yourself something special? To kick off this year's season of giving, Chanel launches its very own advent calendar.

The N°5 Calendar, a collector's item filled with Chanel goodies, comes in the shape of the iconic N°5 perfume bottle. The product is a first for the brand, and each present is inspired by the frangrance famously worn by timeless beauty Marilyn Monroe.

“Once this fellow says, 'Marilyn, what do you wear to bed?' So I said I only wear Chanel No. 5,'" recounted the actress. Now, you can too, as the first gift in the Chanel advent calendar is a miniature bottle of N°5 Eau de Parfum. (Somewhere else in the lineup you may find a full size bottle as well!)

The calendar cheeckily begins on number five and goes up to 31, with 27 boxes in total. Inside are stickers, ornaments, jewelry, and makeup, to name a few. Hand cream, body lotion, and Eau de Toilette Spray are all scented with N°5. Alongside more traditional Chanel products are a flipbook and snow globe. And spoiler—the final gift box reveals a bracelet adorned with a five, Gabrielle "Coco" Chanel’s lucky number.

The limited-edition advent calendar is available for purchase on Chanel's website for $825.
