I think this child has way more mental illness issues then is being dealt with and should not be making medical decisions involving possibly irreversible and harmful to their lifelong health. They are children and in this case I think being called someones daughter is the least of their problems. She needs care, therapy and getting past adolescence to make rational decisions.
Her father seems to be the only one who's thinking straight.
