An ambitious motion to form a delegation that would have included Members of the House of Assembly as well as CARICOM and Organisation of Eastern Caribbean States (OECS) and United Nations (UN) officials to travel to London to seek to reverse the Order in Council to suspend the Virgin Islands Constitution and impose direct rule was made and subsequently withdrawn in the House of Assembly on July 19, 2022.
