During the opening ceremony for Reading is Fun Week on Sunday, October 10, 2021, the Ministry of Education honoured Mrs H. Lynden Smith MBE by presenting her with flowers and a distinguished award to signal its appreciation for her life’s work in literacy in the Virgin Islands.
