Cop accused of indecent assault
Allegations have surfaced that an officer in the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF) has committed indecent assault.
The Police Information Unit confirmed reports of the allegations, stating that the RVIPF is “presently conducting inquiries” into the matter.
The police did not disclose the identity of the accused cop nor did it state whether he/she has been taken off front-line duty.
“As in all allegations, this case will be thoroughly investigated. No charges have yet been laid,” the RVIPF said.
“No other information can be released at this time,” it added.
