Cops Probe Cause Of Death
Police are investigating the cause of death of a male whose body washed ashore in the Fat Hog’s Bay area just after midday on Tuesday, November 24.
The body is believed to be that of Franklyn Malone, resident of the Valley, Virgin Gorda. According to police, forensic tests will be required to make a positive identification.
Investigators revealed that Malone was last seen on Thursday, November 19 in the area of Beef Island where he was scheduled to board a vessel for Virgin Gorda.
Persons who may have seen Malone or have any information about his activities after Thursday afternoon are asked to contact RVIPF Intelligence Unit at 368-9339.
