COVID-19: Crowd sizes in VI reduced to 100 as cases surge
According to Minister for Health and Social Development Hon Carvin Malone (AL), Cabinet will meet on Tuesday to look at the measures put forward to it by health authorities; however, for now, Government has made measures to lessen the crowd sizes to 100.

He said interior spaces must only allow one person to every 9-squared feet, up to 100 persons.
“If your enterprise can only hold 25 it must not have 30 [or] 99 [persons],” Hon Malone stated in a COVID-19 update on Friday, January 7, 2022.
He said anyone wishing to have a crowd size above a hundred must make an application to the Ministry of Health.
The Health Minister also warned that the Environmental Health Unit has been encouraged to "beef up" its staff so that the crowd size situation can be properly monitored.
