COVID-19 positive cases drop to 45 in VI; 2 hospitalised
COVID-19 positive cases in the Virgin Islands (VI) has dropped to 45 in the Virgin Islands (VI) according to the latest epidemiology report based on testing done on February 23, 2022, and reported on February 24, 2022.
Of the active cases, 27 are on Tortola, 10 on Anegada, 2 on Jost van Dyke and 6 on Virgin Gorda.
The majority of the cases are close contacts of cases with the rest local cases and cases discovered through entry screening and travel screening.
According to the stats, 2 persons are also currently hospitalized with the virus.
To date, some 17,385 persons have been fully vaccinated with 1,552 persons partially vaccinated.
