Cruise ship passenger suffers broken femur during bike tour of Tortola
Information coming into our newsroom is that a cruise passenger had to be rushed to Dr D. Orlando Smith Hospital following a biking accident yesterday, November 17, 2021.
The male visitor arrived in the territory on Mein Schif 2 that docked, along with Disney Fantasy, at the Cyril B. Romney Tortola Pier Park.
The visitor was reportedly on a bike tour on Tortola when he fell and broke his femur more commonly known as one’s thigh bone.
Following the accident, the injured tourist reportedly went to the ship but had to be sent to the nearby medical facility.
