DDM says slight chance of showers today in VI
The Virgin Islands (VI) Department of Disaster Management is predicting that for today, Saturday, July 31, 2021, a combination of a surface high pressure and Sahara dust, will inhibit cloud growth and keep shower activities at a minimal.
As such, the DDM says that the weather today would be partly cloudy with a 20 percent or slight chance of showers with the same conditions following tonight.

Winds: East 10 to 18 mph or 17 to 30 km/h.
Seas: 1.2 to 1.8 metres or 4 to 6 feet.
Sunset today: 6:53 pm.
Sunrise tomorrow: 5:56 am.
The DDM on its Facebook page warned that the information is to be used as a guide by anyone who has an interest in local weather conditions, however, said the forcasts disseminated by the Department is gathered from a number of professional sources used or contracted by the DDM.
