Detectives Issue New Call For Public's Assistance In Two Unsolved Cases

Detectives from the Major Crime Investigations Team have been working tirelessly for over a year trying to identify those involved in the two unrelated murders and an attempted murder.
1. Around 4:00am on Monday the 22nd October 2018 Tyrone Thomas and Idrecia Richards were travelling in a maroon coloured 4 door Dodge Ram 1500 within the Brady Ghut area of East End, Tortola, when they came under gunfire. Idrecia Richards sustained serious life changing injuries, whilst Tyrone Thomas was fatally wounded and died at the scene.

2. Around 9:30pm on Monday 22nd October 2018 Mr. Kareem Ettienne was shot whilst in his bedroom at his Fahie Hill address. Ettienne also succumbed to his injuries and died at the scene.

Just over a year later, the Senior Investigating Officer of the Major Crime Investigations Team, Detective Inspector Vernon Larocque is still hopeful that a member of the public can help the police identify those responsible for these two callous shootings and commence the closure process for the grieving families.

Anyone with information relating to these crimes are urged to contact Detective Inspector Vernon Larocque; directly on 368-9809 or via the Major Crime Investigation Team on 368-5682.

All information will be treated with discretion and confidentiality will be assured.
