Diamond Estate man charged with 2 counts of rape

Police have arrested and charged a 33-year-old man with two counts of rape.

According to the Arrest Blotter by the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF) for April 23 to May 6, 2023, on May 1, 2023, at about 2:30 PM, Police arrested and charged Collin Reid of Diamond Estate with two counts of Rape.

Reid appeared before the Magistrate’s Court and was granted bail in the sum of $75,000 with one surety for his later appearance.

  2. On 24-04-2023 at about 0930hrs, Police arrested and charged Juwan Richardson, 25, with Manslaughter. He appeared before the Magistrate’s Court and was remanded.

ASSAULT CAUSING ACTUAL BODILY HARM

On 26-04-2023 at about 0910hrs, Police arrested and charged Damien Farrell, 31, of The Valley, Virgin Gorda for Assault Occasioning Actual Bodily Harm. He appeared before Magistrate’s Court and was granted bail in the sum of $20,000 for his later appearance.

POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED DRUG

On 26-04-2023 at about 1508hrs, Police arrested and charged Nigel Prince of John's Hole for Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Drug, Assault on Police, Resisting Arrest and Disorderly Conduct in a Public Place. He was granted bail in the sum of $5,000 signed with one surety to appear before Magistrate’s Court on 05-06-2023 at 0900hrs.
